I styled this street party to showcase the latest party printables in honor of Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee happening this summer in June - It's going to be a huge celebration in the UK, with people throwing street parties and parade-viewing parties all over the realm, and party printables offer a really fun and affordable way to decorate your tables and homes for the occasion!

To mark the 60th anniversary of the Queen's Coronation, street parties are usually thrown all over the UK,and I wanted to capture that fun, family-oriented spirit of the party where everyone joins together in celebration - With a partystyling is very British, very kitsch and screams FUN!

Usually in these street parties the whole street closes down and joins together with baking competitions, face-painting for kids, games galore, music and even fireworks in some cases!

And the editable buffet cards depict a silhouette of the London skyline, with the London Eye and other famous landmarks.

For the table, we usually have a long table filled with edible delights, and so for the backdrop I created some giant paper roses by superimposing layers of wall-paper with double sided tape.

I basically just cut random tear-drop shapes to resemble petals and stuck them in layers of 5 or 6, with each layer being smaller the the previous, until it all looked like rose. Then I hot-glued it to apaperplate and made 2 slits at the back to pass a ribbon through. The ribbon was tied to the trees behind.

Alternatively, you could use thumb-tracks to pin the paper roses to a wall or hang them from the ceiling.

For my last British-inspired party shoot last year for the Royal Wedding, I created some scones recipe for a Tea Party, so this time round I decided to bakesometraditional British desserts with a summery twist!

But off course no English party would be complete without tea, so I used the printable union jack designs on the mugs,and covered the tea bags with a printable wrapper with the Queen's silhouette that we have in our stamps, and with theusual Royal Warrant trade marking we would get in retail products "By Appointment of Her Majesty The Queen" - Which isvery befitting for the occasion!

Well favors are no really the appropriate word here. These are more like party "goodiesboxes" filled with lovely treats left over from the party, to be enjoyed later!
